This section was created to chronicle the evolution of my boys' growth, milestones, and the daily laughs we have together. The interaction between my 2 boys alone is enough entertainment to take up all the memory on my computer! =)
January 4, 2011:
Little Mr. Collin Bryson started WALKING today! A little over 3 weeks ago he took a few steps, and yesterday he took a few more, but today he really -really- did it! Every time he would take a few more, Jonah and I would clap and cheer him on, which made him really enthusiastic about it! I am elated to see my boys grow and watch them reach new milestones, but sad at the same time that lil CBH is our last baby and the last one that we'll be cheering on with each milestone.
Yesterday I took both kids to the Pediatrician for Bryson's one year well check visit. Bryson got his one year vaccines, and, after he got his shots, Jonah got very concerned about Bryson crying and wanted to make sure he was ok. Jonah asked the nurse "WHAT DID YOU DO to my brother?" And then later, when we went to the mall after the Dr appt, Jonah kept kissing Bryson and saying "I love you bubby..." My boys can be so sweet!
Jonah never fails to say the sweetest and/or funniest things some times. Also yesterday, Bryson was trying to knock down a picture in a frame that was hanging on the wall above the crib, and, after me saying "Bryson NO. No, Bryson... no no no...." about 50 times, I picked him up and moved him away from the spot where he could reach the picture. This of course made lil man mad and he threw a little temper tantrum. Jonah said to me "Why did you make Bryson cry?" I said "...because he didn't mind me." So Jonah replies, "You need to make him happy!'' It was too funny!
Add to the list of funny stuff my kids do... something else from just a few days ago. Jonah comes prancing in to the room I am in, with Desitin ALL over his hands. I said "Jonah did you put butt cream on your butt???" He said "Yes. It's disgusting!" (and then feels compelled to yank his undies down and show me his completely white butt!) Turns out our house had Desitin alll over it, like it had been finger painted with it or something!
